Most likely...gonna hate myself for this.

Anyways since there's been a recent downgrade to a few Masada characters in particular, this fight idea actually came to me that probably HAD to be made sooner or later.

Speeds equalized. Hassan himself is in his Grand Servant form.

Machina: 3

King Hassan: 7

Inconclusive: 0

Machina's Holy Relic

Powers and Abilities
Tier: 7-A

Name:
Goetz von Berlichingen, Machina, Michael Wittmann (Real name), Einherjar Nigredo, Tenma Ootake

Origin: Dies Irae

Gender: Male

Age: 94

Classification: Longinus Dreizehn Orden #7, One of the Three Commanders

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Immortality (Types 1, 3 and 4), Regenerationn (Low-Godly, Mid-Godly within Gladsheimr), Enhanced Senses, Extrasensory Perception, Soul Manipulation, Reality Warping, Barrier Creation, Power Nullification (Via his Holy Relic; punched out Re out of his Eine Overture Briah and punched Tubal Cai out of his lighting Briah form), Death Manipulation (Can instantly kill anyone with a single hit with his Holy Relic), Existence Erasure (Any of Machina's punches erase the existence of a being with a history when his Briah is active), Conceptual Manipulation via his Briah (Would have destroyed the concept of darkness had he killed Methuselah, who is its physical embodiment), Can end all things with a single hit with his Holy Relic or Briah, Teleportation, Energy Absorption, Durability Negation, Immunity to natural poisons and diseases, Resistance to Magic, Mental, Spiritual, Spatial, Temporal and Conceptual attacks

Attack Potency: Mountain level (Superior to Eleonore, his punches was described by Ren to be more powerful than any nuclear bombardments, one-shotted Tubal Cai who was stated by the narration to be able to split entire mountains with a single attack), can bypass durability by attacking his opponent's soul, with his Holy Relic, or Briah

Speed: Massively Hypersonic+ (At least comparable to Eleonore. Intercepted and one-shotted Tubal Cai even while the latter had Beatrice's briah active. Able to keep up and trade blows with Ren Fuji, who once accelerated fast enough to make lightning appear frozen to him)

Lifting Strength: At least Class 10 (Stronger than Wilhelm)

Striking Strength: Mountain Class

Durability:
Mountain level (Superior to Eleonore), Regenerationn makes him difficult to kill

Stamina: Limitless

Range: Melee range

Standard Equipment: His Holy Relic, Deus Ex Machina (His own body)

Intelligence: Very skilled combatant with over 60 years of experience, expert tactician, possesses absolute knowledge on human anatomy and psychology

Weaknesses: His Relic's and Briah's effects are limited to his fists, and thus avoiding contact with them will allow one to escape the effects of his Briah. In addition, acasual and/or higher-dimensional beings are unable to be affected by it at all.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Deus Ex Machina: Machina's Holy Relic, Deus Ex Machina takes the form of his own body. A passive ability whenever he attacks, Machina's Relic allows him to end anything his fists hit, even being able to end a Gudou-type Briah user's ability (ex. Ren's and Beatrice's) and putting them back to their base form so long as they have a history. He is also even able to hit elemental beings with his relic, as he knocked out Tubal Cai while he had Beatrice's Briah active that makes the latter become pure lightning.
  • Midgardr Völsunga Saga: Machina's Gudou-type Briah, his desire being "I want to die with a single end". When activated, his arms are covered in a pair of black armored guards that cover his entire arms. In this state, all of Machina's punches now have the effect of erasing the existence of their target as long as they have a history (Which can include every single second of one's life, and works on material and immaterial beings, and even inanimate objects). This even applies to concepts (As they have existed since the Big Bang), being capable of wiping out Methuselah and the concept of darkness he embodies were he to have landed a hit on the latter. The only possible ways to bypass this ability is to be higher-dimensional (As it is impossible for Machina to actually hit them), acausal, or to simply avoid contact with his fists.
King Hassan-0

Powers and Stats
Tier: At least 7-A, likely much higher

Name:
Grand Assassin, Assassin, King Hassan, Hassan-i-Sabbah, Old Man of the Mountain, Abyss of the Assassins

Origin: Fate/Grand Order

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

Classification: Heroic Spirit, Assassin-class Servant, Founder of the Hassan-i-Sabbah, Grand Servant

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Teleportation, Fire Manipulation (Emits blue flames as he strikes, but they are of unknown origin), Weather Manipulation (Can create and control sandstorms), Invisibility (Is nearly impossible to detect until he attacks), Master Swordsma (On par with, if not superior to, any of the Knights of the Round Table), Death Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Conceptual Manipulation, and Fate Manipulation via Azrael (Can instantly bring the time of the target's death and severing their very fate, Can "kill" abstract concepts like long-distance communication and insert the concept of death into beings that have none), Resistance to Magical Attacks and Soul Manipulation (His Magic Resistance nullifies or sharply reduces the effectiveness of most spells of any kind, including Petrification, Spatial Manipulation, and Mind Manipulation, his Protection of the Faith skill grants him "absoluteness of body and soul"), Can nullify his foes' immunity to instant death, Immunity to Death Manipulation (His Death Toll skill renders him utterly immune to instant death of any kind), Can enter a Spirit Form to leave battlefields quickly and remain undetected, Can continue fighting with lethal injuries

Attack Potency: At least Mountain level, likely much higher (Casually stopped Gawain's Excalibur Galatine with his cape even though Gawain had received the Lion King's blessing and had his Numeral of the Saint active, Easily warded off Ozymandias' attempts to attack him despite the latter being completely serious, Grand Servants are outright stated to be on a scale surpassing any normal Servant)

Speed: At least Hypersonic+ with High Hypersonic reactions and combat speed (Should be several times more powerful and swift as a Grand Servant)

Lifting Strength: At least SuperHuman (Even the weakest Servants are stronger than the finest athletes)

Striking Strength: At least Mountain Class, likely higher

Durability:
At least Mountain level, likely much higher (Is several times more powerful as a Grand Servant, Easily warded off Ozymandias' attempts to attack him despite the latter being completely serious), Immune to conventional weaponry of any kind

Stamina: Virtually limitless for as long as he has prana

Range: Extended melee range with his sword, Unknown with Teleportation and Azrael

Standard Equipment: His sword and armor

Intelligence: As the original Hassan-i-Sabbah, King Hassan is undoubtedly a master of assassination, with his teachings being passed down to each figure to take up his name for hundreds of years. Despite his class's tendency to avoid direct combat, King Hassan is a master swordsman on par with any of the Knights of the Round Table, allowing him to take the fight directly to those he cannot simply cut down. While rigid in his code of conduct and unshakable faith, he is a reasonable figure, acquiescing to the Cursed Arm Hassan's requests after the latter offered his life in exchange and later let his successor go free after the Assassin's cursed arm was destroyed. He was also the renowned and respected leader of an entire Islamic sect and commanded legions of followers who obeyed his every command, with all in the Hashashin's grasp knowing that the appearance of the skulled swordsman meant certain death.

Weaknesses: King Hassan cannot attack while in Spirit Form. He has a bad habit of not finishing his targets when he's easily able to (not bothering to kill Gawain while he was stunned and leaving after beheading Ozymandias despite knowing of Ramesseum Tentyris's abilities). Hassan is cursed so that he is instantly revealed at the moment he begins his attack

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Noble Phantasms

  • Azrael: Angel of Death: (µ¡╗ÕæèÕñ®õ¢┐ÒéóÒé║Òâ®ÒéñÒâ╝Òâ½, Azura─½ru: Shi Koku Tenshi) is King Hassan's Noble Phantasm. An ability similar to the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, King Hassan wields his greatsword, dyed in his resolute faith, to instantly bring the target to their time of death. At the same time, he severs their fate and removes the reason for their continual existence from time, killing them instantly as their death bell tolls. He is also able to utilize this ability to attack abstract concepts, such as an unspoken contract between goddesses and long-distance communications.
Class Skills

  • Presence Concealment: (µ░ùÚàìÚü«µû¡, Kehai Shada, localized as "Obfuscatio") The ability to hide one's presence as a Servant. Although his assassination technique and ability to conceal his presence is virtually flawless, his incredible power, skill as a swordsman, and a curse inflicted on him long ago makes it so that his victims would discover his presence the moment he makes his attack, lowering this skill to A-Rank when compared to the A+ Rank of his successors.
  • Magic Resistance (Õ»¥Ú¡öÕèø, Tai-Maryoku, localized as "Anti-Magic"): A skill that grants protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. King Hassan's Rank B magic resistance cancels spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for him to be affected.
  • Independent Actio (Õìÿþï¼ÞíîÕïò, Tandoku Kōdō, localized as "Independence"): is the ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from the Master. At the higher ranks, it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without an established contract. It is both useful and troublesome depending on the disposition of the Servant and the rank of Independent Action. Acting in autonomy from the Master's Magical Energy supply, the Master can concentrate their own Magical Energy on large spells, or the Servant will be fine even in the case they can not supply Magical Energy due to injury. King Hassan's Rank in this skill is B, which mean that is possible for him to stay in the world for two days without a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by maximally conserving mana and avoiding battle and Noble Phantasm usage. That said, this may not be an issue due to King Hassan's manifestation without a master during the events of the Camelot chapter, but is more relevant when summoned as a Servant.
  • At the Boundary (Õ╣¢Þ░À, Youkoku): King Hassan's unique Class Skill. Having becoming so familiar with Death to the point of being one with it, he has gained an incredible resistance to instant death effects as well as charming and mind manipulation effects. In addition, while the activation rate is low, the edge of his blade can potentially terminate the life of any being it cuts, no matter how minor the wound may be. Such is the ability of the man who has walked on the boundary of the Shadows of the Valley of Death.
Personal Skills

  • Battle Continuatio (µêªÚùÿþÂÜÞíî, Sentō Zokkō, localized as "Marshall"): is the strength of vitality for predicaments as well as the ability to withdraw from combat and reach allied territory alive after being defeated. King Hassan has an EX Rank in this skill, making him even more tenacious than the mighty Heracles, who is able to fight on in the face of lethal injuries and can remain alive so long as one does not receive a decisive fatal wound such as having his head blown up or his torso destroyed.
  • Protection of the Faith (õ┐íõ╗░Òü«ÕèáÞ¡À, Shinkō no Kago, localized as "Aegis of the Divine"): is a Skill possessed only by those who have sacrificed themselves for a religious view. Despite being a form of divine protection, it is not a blessing from a higher existence. It is only the absoluteness of one's body and soul, which is born from faith. King Hassan's piety towards his God has rendered him immune to any kind of self-doubt or loathing as well as mental interference of any kind.
  • Evening Bell (µÖ®ÚÉÿ, Banshou): Having become synonymous with the rites of passing and death's knell, Hassan is able to inflict the concept of death on the target in order to bring salvation to those who have lost sight of their mortality in the place of God. This skill is also capable of nullifying any resistance to instant death they may have and improves the lethality of his already devastating strikes.

Hassan has no way to get past his regen unless he can kill him using his fate manipulation, but I have no idea where the fight takes place so IDK how he can...

Really not sure.

On one hand, Hassan is virtually immune to being insta-killed by Machina's Yetzirah.

On the other, Machina is resistant and borderline immune to conceptual manipulation and magic, which Machina's insta-kill abilities are based on.

Machina might win out in the long run unless Hassan can destroy his Holy Relic.

@Gargoyle

Well, I just remembered that Hassan can lower one's resistance to being insta-killed, so his killing ability might actually work.

As long as Machina doesn't pull out his Briah, Hassan could take this.

Imo, it could go either way.

If Hassan could lower Machina resistance to being insta-killed, he may be capable of incapitating him , he also has Weather Manipulation to try and blind Machina alongside Teleportation for better maneuver.

Machina on the other hand is an Einherjar, as such he is immortal but that is not a problem for Hassan, the problem is his Briah and Holy Relic, Fire Manipulation and Weather Manipulation are no problem since he can use either of those two to end or erase them, the only thing that would be a pain is Old Man Teleportation , also Old Man has no resistance to Machina briah so if he get fisted, he's done , Machina isn't one to play games, he will probably go for Briah once he sees how powerful Old Man is...

Voting for Machina.

Did background reasearch, as much as I love Machina as a character in Dies Irae, Hassan takes the cake here with better versatility with his Noble Phatasm. Furthermore, reading through his intelligence section in comparison with Machina's, Hassan's more well rounded tactical experience takes the cake here since he could simply avoid direct combat with Machina and assasinate him if he needed to.

TLDR: my vote goes to Hassan for better versatility and experience.

Hassan is cursed though so his assassination doesn't seem to be the way to go for his victory, most likely is that they will end up for a fight.

They're equal in term of fighting experience. Not to mention Machina is used to someone whos figthing style is based around moving around his opponent at very high speed and blitzing him, so teleportation won't really give King Hassan that much of an advantage since it won't really surprise him

I'll go with Machina for ALRF's reason i feel like Machina is the one to whip out his trump card first to kill his opponent first

  • Reads the whole profile
Wait, an assassin servant that doesn't suck? What sorcery is this??

While we're at it, I think Hassan has more chances here, though it should be really close. Since the Hassan can actually negate the whole resistance to being insta-killed, I think he may take it in the end since at this point his NP sounds almost the same as being punched by Machina. And as it's always said... Resistance does not equal immunity. Though yeah, Machina's briah put me a hair's breadth away from voting Inconclusive.

I'm voting for Machina here.

He can use the soul sensor that every Die Ewigkeit user has to circumvent Presence Concealment that Hassan owns, right?

Besides that he has conceptual, temporal and spiritual endurance is up to that high. He does not take a fight in jest, which can lead him to activate his Briah as soon as he realizes the danger of the enemy.

I wonder if Old Man is "immune" to Machina's Briah, since he could have erased Metuhselah (Mid-Godly Regen + Type 8 Immortality, insane resistance to Conceptual damage) and if I remember correctly, it was stated that he would have a chance of affecting Reinhard.

Hmmmmmm

Azrael vs MVS

Considering Azrael's fate manipulation and "remove all reason for their continued existence from space-time, in addition to the concept manipulation and negating resistance to insta-death, I feel comfortable saying that it can kill Machina.

At the same time, MVS does the same thing, erasing their history.

A few questions

Is Azrael serious here? IIRC he's kinda lazy. He might just slice up Machina then wander off without bothering to finish him properly.

How does his teleportation work? Can he use it in combat to teleport around his opponent?

I just went as is for both of them in-character. Didn't consider that part when i made this.

@Monarch Hassan uses his Teleportation in combat, just look at his attack animations in Grand Order.

Anyway I'm voting for Hassan here due to being mostly immune to Machina's holy relic insta kill and since he is most likely serious about winning because Machina is a threat. Which means he will likely teleport and Azrael him to end the fight.

If he teleports in combat, I'm voting Hassan for being able to keep out of punching range, close the gap instantly, and use Azrael on Machina, while having the resistance to the Yetzirah one-shot, which would force Machina to take some time (not much, but it matters) invoking his Briah

Obviously 1 since a combatent needs 7 out of a difference 3 votes from their opponent for it to them to be deemd the victor...not that hard to remember the vote requirement.
