Metal Sonic could even copy Susano'o, but there is no guarantee that he can use Totsuka and Yata, even because he lacks a soul. Again, these weapons are not linked to MS, they are spirit weapons that existed even before MS, as Zetsu mentioned that Orochimaru spent his entire life chasing these weapons and recognized it in combat.

Edit: forgot to mention that when metal copies his opponents abilities he gets all of their resistances too

Nothing like that in the profile. Even the profile itself specifies it's resistances, there is no such thing as "it has all the resistances of something it copies".

Neo metal sonic can copy chaos powers such as chaos control which is power enriched by the heart (another word for soul) which is something we already verified he doesn't have meaning metal can copy soul based attacks/Techniques

This is meaningless. If the heart represented the soul, Chaos Regeneration would be Low-Godly, not Mid-High.

And again, Sonic's PM analyzes the opponent's DNA data, yet Totsuka and Yata aren't linked to the opponent's DNA. In fact, even that is doubtful due to Edo Tensei's IP, which is made entirely of paper.

"Chaos" here is talking about chaos energy, the chaos emeralds, and their relationship to the master emerald. Not Chaos the character

Metal has copied abilities from E-123 Omega a being with type 2 ip so it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to assume he can copy paper which is to some extent organic matter.
