Normally it’s 2 meters, actually. Though she can always grow her horns to increase her range and just yeet this... Specimen. Chucking projectiles is also a valid alternative for her.

What’s stopping Specimen 5 from exploiting her past trauma?

The fact that said Past Trauma caused her to immediately develop her Vectors and murder what caused said Trauma in the first place.

Weaknesses: Lucy is emotionally unstable, and during times of stress or trauma, she may revert to her harmless, innocent persona as Nyuu.
