Possible Limited Resurrection for Josuk4 with him doing it few times throughout part 4.

• let's discuss about the first time, Okuyasu's death.

In okuyasu's death, the white mist thingy already appeared on him which signifies death in jojo.

It was also said that Okuyasu has died for losing life force yet Josuke still insisted to restore him.

Later on he was restored back to life explaining how he decided to go back to Josuke, meaning his spiritual form/soul going back to his body and thanks to josuke's restoration he is alive.

• 2nd time would be Hayato beings killed by killer queen, hayato already was detonated into a bomb and exploded with josuke restoring him in the nick of time. Kira's bomb is an instant kill ability although not death manipulation, hayato's body was already scattered into dust/ashes or perhaps matter yet josuke restored him with no problem.

Regarding Weaknesses and What could contradict this:

• Josuke's grandfather, he couldn't bring him back to life.

Why? Because his soul already was gone.

Jotaro said "you can't restore the dead back to life"

Which would contradict the whole thing normally but not the case.

In Okuyasu and Hayato's case, their souls were still intact.

Even though okuyasu has already left he chose to return which lead to being resurrected.

Same goes to hayato, his soul wasn't gone yet when josuke restored him which should've been also destroyed by killer queen.

Weakness: he can't revive people whose souls has left already.

Isn't it just that Josuke healed them while they were dying rather than dead? Like how characters are often near-dead.
Okuyasu was already dead, his life force was gone, his heart stopped beating and doesn't breath anymore. even after josuke restored him.

He didn't come back until he chose to, had he chosen to go with his brother he would be dead...

Similar thing happened to Bucciarati later on part 5, although his body was working through giorno's necromancy unlike josuke who can completely restore things.

And there's hayato who was being reduced into atomic level (which killer queen's explosion level is if i remember correctly, either ways his was already gone to ashes) it was scattered by the bomb and hayato's body was starting to vanish yet josuke restored him on the nick of time, kira's bomb will also destroy the soul if the body was completely gone.

Josuke explicitly cannot resurrect characters who have died.

Regarding Okuyasu and Hayato, they just weren't fully dead yet is the most logical explanation.

Okuyasu was already dead, even his soul left but came back thanks to his late brother. He made his mind up to return.

His heart has stopped and doesn't even breathe anymore, that white smoke thing already appeared which means death on jojo.

Shining Diamond is explicitly unable to resurrect the dead. All Josuke can do is repair the dead body; however, as Hayato pointed out and as demonstrated with Ryohei, their biological functions cannot be restored, and their souls cannot be brought back to the world of the living.

In regards to Hayato, he had not died yet.
