Lifting vs Throwing Strength

Hey there. So... While throwing something requires lifting, the Vs Battledome Wiki sets lifting strength as what a person is capable of lifting, throwing is an act that requires more than an object's weight to do, especially if an object were to move vertically in any way (ex. a 45 degree angle). Basically, the general idea of what I'm getting at is if one person has a hard time carrying an object, then it is even more unlikely said object can be thrown. How does one factor a toss into lifting strength?
