Lifting strength scaling

A character X can lift planets and has class Y lifting strength. A Character Y can lift character X. Does this make character Y to also scale to class Y lifting strength by Newton's 3rd Law.

By your description, no.

Newton's 3rd law doesn't happen here since character X doesn't exert any force while character Y lifts him.

All character Y have to do is to generate enough force to overcome the force of gravity generated by character X's weight

Unless of course X have Class Y mass and in that case it'd be valid, or X increases his weight to Class Y level via gravity hax or something

However, an example where Y would scale to X, is that for example, instead of lifting him, Y can push X back, despite X using all his strength. Another example would be character Y and character X arm wrestle, and Y wins

Ahh got it.
