Can tanking powerful water pressure be use to get LS and Durability? Example, like someone tank pressure of deep sea water (Mariana Trench) or something with their body?

If their bodies aren't designed specifically for the environment you can get durability. Lifting Strength I'm not so sure about.

How about this?
Character A push character B to the ground via water pressure which is stated to similar to pressure under Mariana Trench. Character B able to lift himself up despite the intense pressure. Can this count as LS?

1. That example, assuming he's being put under constant pressure, would be a yes from me.
2. I feel like people forget that the reasoning for Durability scaling to Striking Strength would also technically apply to Lifting Strength, as you'd still have to withstand that energy.
