how can u restrain someone with your higher lifting strength if the opponent is hundreds of times stronger than u are?

The strongest character generally needs to perform a movement in order to cause damage (unless it can generate heat or any other form of passive AP), if its immobilized then it can gain enough momentum to cause notable damage.

With enough LS one can get some AP (like, you lift a skyscraper and you expect to have lke a 9-A to 8-C rating, possibly even higher), but for practival purposes, they are independent stats, since you're find people with a considerable AP with with a genuine low (relatively speaking) LS. One can also use LS advantage to throw your opponent around, and if the LS is abyssal, one may even punch it out to outerspace (granted it has the feats to do so).
