I like the series, although half of me says they should've just done a series about Monkey King.
But then again, the mentor is always cooler, but a series about Monkey King would probably be when he was a protagonist, & thus, might lack some of the appealing elements he has as a mentor.
Still, I wanna see some Son Wukong animated adventures. Also, I really liked the Calabash episode.

I haven’t finshed it yet since im try to finsh final space. But I’ve enjoyed it, it’s also kinda weird that they have a full on English dub even with goku’s voice actor yet the show hasn’t been released in the west

Sun Wukong in Journey to the West has been a mentor and granted his apprentices superhuman physical statics, so I do not find it strange.

Back to Lego Monkie Kid, the mentor role is suitable to him. Actually, he is suitable to many roles.

Just finished s2 ep 2 and I’m very surprised that nobody has already discussed the fact that a celestial being almost destroyed the on accident planet just from dropping a dumpling and monkey king stomped multiple celestial beings

The issue for Lego Monkie Kid Sun Wukong's profile is that who he can scale to. I feel that he can scale to the Low 4-C.

Just finished watching ep 11, samadhi fire can straight up destroy the universe. Sun wukong almost beat lady bone demon(albiet she was in a weak body). He was also apparently fighting so fast that nezha could barley keep up with his movements.
