I see that clip there, so guess it requires to shoot the attack first then it spawns on you? I'd argue Seph could possibly escape black holes via teleporting/spatial cutting. On the topic of arrogance Seph in this key isn't as deranged as he is later on and doesn't actually mess around all that much, as shown when he showed up in Ifirit's realm he wasted no time one shotting it and does use hax in his fights considering he had to use spatial manip to get in there in the first place.

I don't think I see resist to life manip for Lance so Seph can nail her with Heartless Angel and then kill her with a love tap afterwards, not voting atm just getting stuff said here.

Lance doesn't inherently have a resistance to life Manipulation but has fought against opponents like Matt who has life absorption powers
