Kyo has a higher range and the same durability, though.

It would be a battle of attrition then, It's unlikely that Shun Goku Sastsu would 100% work since Kyo has faced opponents with soul powers such as Chizuru and Orochi.

Kyo has the range advantage but Ryu has teleportation and intangibility, it won't be hard to close the distance. He also has higher AP, hits harder and has the Raging Demon, if that connects, it's a one-hit kill for Ryu.
