Homelander somehow winded up on Skull Island, and Kong really doesn't like someone flying around shooting laser beams, so he goes to prove his superiority.

The fight takes place on Skull Island, both fighters are 10 meters apart.

King Kong has projectiles, yeah. And Kong might have a chance of winning due to his superior size if they get in a slugging match, not sure.

Hmm, not seeing a calc for either so presumably baseline for both. Same class for lifting makes this a very even match physically aside from the large size. Versatility, Homelander takes it with flight and HV being applicable for this fight.

Haven't watched The Boys so what is HL's leading move, against big monsters if that has happened?

Homelander has never faced a big monster before, most of the times he walks in with a smug look and takes everything that's thrown at him, however that's only with guards. But seeing as how he did it with someone superhumanly strong like Queen Maeve, he might try and overpower with fisticuffs at first.

Homelander's go to ability is usually his laser. I don't really see much of him using anything else.

homelander is capable of one shotting maeve who is at least 8C

He did, after casually tanking her sword onto his head. Though that was comics Homelander, don't know if that applies to TV Show.
