The man on the television cackles as he shoots the man dead with a flurry of bullets. A young boy watches the scene, his eyes peeking out from behind his hands.

"MOOOOOOOM!" Kevin yells, suddenly regretting his choice to watch this film.

And then? The phone rings.

Kevin jumps at the sound, but collects himself, walking to pick it up. With newfound confidence, Kevin places the phone to his ear.

"Hello?" He says.

"Hello, Kevin." A deep, slightly robotic voice replies. "What's your favorite scary movie?"

Kevin tilts his head. His favorite... scary movie? It was Christmas, not Halloween. What was this guy talking about?

"Ghostbusters." Kevin replied.

The voice chuckled.

"Ghostbusters? Ha! Baby's first horror movie." The voice replies.

"I'm eight, jerk." Kevin sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Haha, alright, kid." The voice continued. "See you soon."

The Kid Who Was Left Alone has to defend his himself -- and his home -- against The Voice On The Phone!

Ghostface (1996) (Billy Loomis and Stu Macher) is used.

The fight takes place in Kevin's house, where he has 4 hours of prep time. All of Kevin's traps from Home Alone 1 are available to him.

The Ghostface duo are 9-C (375 joules)

Kevin is 10-C (40 joules ig), but can reach much higher via his traps.

The Wet Bandits have been killed by Ghostface prior to this encounter. Just to explain their absence.

Hard to say. While having knowledge in horror movies is pretty neat, the thing about horror movies is the victims are usually stupid as all heck, so I think whatever knowledge in horror movies the Ghostface duo would have may amount to little more than actually having common sense. This should give them the decency to use caution when entering the McCallister household; however, at the same time, the traps Kevin made use of are fairly crafty and some potentially too unorthodox for common sense to work against them, the Stairs full of Tar being one example. Kevin might have to slightly take things up a notch in order to counteract whatever the Ghostfaces have in store for them. Of course if a trap works, Kevin would have no problem killing one or both Ghostfaces in a single hit, with the blowtorch and the stairs-based traps especially.

On the other hand, the Ghostfaces in-character are more than willing to kill someone, although they seem to prefer messing with their victims' heads than going right for the kill, hence their signature horror movie quiz trick. With firearms, there's a possibility that they might not even have to enter the house to land a hit on Kevin, obviously killing him in the process. Given they go for a slashing strike, it seems as if the Ghostfaces prefer to enter Kevin's home, which would give Kevin the homefield advantage.

It might be best to let others weigh in before I try and vote here. Hopefully I laid down the groundwork for ample discussion.

We should probably consider that the Wet Bandits actually beat Kevin. They fell for his traps, withstood them, and at the end they caught him and had him at their mercy, and were going to beat him up. The old neighbour had to come to Kevin's rescue.

So in this case, Billy and Stu are smarter and stronger than the Wet Bandits overall, their intent is to kill Kevin rather than rob the place, and the old man isn't going to be coming to Kevin's rescue here.

Okay, but at the same time, the Wet Bandits can take a lot more of a beating than either Ghostface could. I mean, heck, the Wet Bandits could take a room-sized explosion to the face. If anything, the Ghostfaces are more likely to die rom Kevin's traps than the Wet Bandits were.

Having seen Scream recently Billy and Stu are kind of dumbasses lol. The Wet Bandits are like 9-B so they could take Kevin's hits. These guys don't have that luxury and their MO is home invasion. They can't get through Kevin's home without going through many deadly traps. These two are basically the wet bandits but more violent and less durable.

Kevin wins.

Seeing how those two are extremely clumsy when chasing down their victims to kill them in the movie, they'll most likely fall into a lot of Kevin's traps. So Kevin takes this.

Quick Question: Would Kevin McCallister with Prep Time vs John Kramer with Prep Time be a fair match? I've wanted to make it for a while, but idk how fair it would really be
