Baki gets involved in a tournament where the ogre can appear, and easily makes it to the semi finals. However, his opponent was a champion of the same caliber, Kanoh Agito. Both Kanoh and Baki have been able to see each other fight and have a basic understanding of their styles.

Voting Baki. He has the AP advantage via his “likely higher” modifier + an even greater advantage and speed advantage from Demon Back. Adaptation shouldn’t be too great an issue to contend with since Baki’s style apparent involves his body just naturally using the most optimal move at the moment. Analytical Prediction isn’t an issue as he’s had resistance to it since he fought Gaia via Instinctive Reaction, and Baki not being able to predict Kanoh shouldn’t really matter since Baki has dozens of speed amps like Death Concentration for reaction speed, Hand Pocket, Mach Punch, Cockroach Tackle, and Triceratops Fist for attack speed, and 0.5 Second Unconscious to attack Kanoh while his brain is processing information. Baki also has things like Cord Cutter and Goutaijutsu to bypass or rival Indestructible and has seen
L I M P be countered to a greater degree through Yujiro’s overcoming Shaorii, so I imagine that it can be accounted for in his grappling (IE Aiki/Yawara or any of his many chokes and locks). RPL could be an issue, but with an answer to Kanoh’s entire kit as well as a pretty large AP, Durability, and Speed advantage, I don’t imagine it would get to that point.
