This would actually be interesting. Based on Ren's feats in the TFA( rather lackluster) they might be about equal. Kanan defeated the Grand Inquisitor who was personally trained by Vader( although one could argue that Kanan had reached a clarity in the force at that moment) Kanan utilizes Soresu, but I'm not sure what lightsaber form Ren uses.Im leaning towards Kanan, but Ren should have a ridiculous amount of potential.

Edit: I will be reading the novelization of TFA, so hopefully Ren expresses a greater deal of power in the novel.
