just read the latest chapter, its honestly shocking how much im liking this story.

i have a way to calc Owl by samura.

So Samura more than likely blocked out the entirety of japans light seeing as its stated owl would detect any enchanted blade activation in the entirety of japan.

so i thought this means owl>japans illumination.

the energy the sun shines on earth is 342 watts per square meter

Japans surface area is 3,779,150,000,000 meters ^2

japans illumination per second is 1.2924693e+15 or Large Town Level

Samura keeps this up for a couple days at least iirc. I’m unsure whether that would be a stamina feat or we should multiply the seconds it lasts to the value above for AP. if we do Multiply it, we are looking at Island Level Samura

i never argued for him absorbing the sunlight. he’s using his spiritual energy to block the illumination of an entire country. Does that not mean his own energy would need to be greater or at least equal too? I don’t see how that is not related to the potency of his spiritual energy. i don’t see how this is different from blocking any other energy beam

This is not a feat that counts for anything AP, does a dome stadium get tier 6 AP because its sitting there blocking sunlight for years, a net can block sunlight over an area, buildings block sunlight. This is a non feat

it’s actually so funny u said this dome reference because it helps my point. the fact that the dome doesn’t crumble or melt by the energy it’s being hit with means it’s durability> the sun light it’s being hit with.

In this case Samura’s spirit energy is literally more durable than the energy equivalent of illuminating all of japan. Seeing as that’s the same source of power he uses to strengthen his body and attack others, others can hurt and clash with him, etc. it should scale to ap.

while i agree it’s probably better to use a per second value, and chalk the duration up to stamina, saying he doesn’t scale to the initial value (1.2e+15 joules) at all is wrong. Again there is no difference between what he did and blocking any other light beam or energy attack.

Samura in the most literal sense blocked a light beam as powerful as a nuke. i don’t get what your problem is.

Thats still not how that works even if that were a measure of the total amounts of watts the illuminates japan its still not a feat, the suns energy isn't concentrated enough to do any meaningful level if damage let alone crumble or melt something all the way on each that's as big as this all that energy would be distributed across the entire surface area thus making it negligible but even then its not like its an actual concentrated dense laser or beam.

If he blocked out all the concentrated all the sunlight across japan that was fired at one singular point in a more focused beam maybe but thats not what happens.

Sunlight is just not as destructive or as concentrated as you're making it seem to scale to anything or else we aren't even alive ourselves

so the watts rating i used was for what hits the ground on earth, NOT the energy the sun generates in general. I think you might have misunderstood me.

So yes while it basically does not do anything per square meter my idea was blocking out all of japans would be impressive

oh ok so you’re saying it’s just a range thing and Samura doesn’t actually need to be that strong to do such?

My idea was that owl’s total ranged output would ≈ suzaku’s samura’. So while the light beam and owl isn’t concentrated, his other attacks should be the equivalent of the two’s total output. But i’m starting to see how that MIGHT be wrong.

Its not a feat performed by samura directly or not that we know, its a seitei war feat that you could argue should scale to samura given his standing in the war and EB's being >>> hence the possibly

The light generated is energy generated by the sun its total energy per second is H6-A but the you're doing the watts for what hits japan

Yeah I get you but no there is no KE applicable there and you must show destruction equivalent to the KE involved for that to be usable
