Scratch isn't incorporeal. He can turn intangible sometimes, but he's made up of a gooey substance that anyone can interact with. Besides, Johnny has NPI anyways.

Scratch can take away someone's luck and transfer it to someone else via the curse from The Lucky Penny.

That's assuming Johnny can see or hear him. Scratch starts off the match with passive invisibility. And the curse can work on lucky objects too.

Thing is Scratch will have to know that Johnny gets lucky in order for him to do it, which may take him a little while to know.

Scratch seems to be aware of people's levels of luck. For example, he's already aware of Andrea's levels of fortune and what will happen when the penny reacts to her. It wouldn't take long for him to figure out what's going on.

I don't think that should matter since they both have ways of negating conventional durability and Scratch has Mid-High regen.

He does have enhanced senses though, so it's possible he could sense Scratch attacking. He just has no way of countering the luck curse since it pulls the luck right out.
