This'll probably be the last WWE CRT for a while.
This time around, I'll be arguing for John Cena to gain Supernatural Willpower, as well as proposing that The Undertaker should get a new ability.
First, let's start with John Cena.
As you can see from Cena's Powers and Abilities section, Cena has a Limited Resistance to Mind Manipulation due to the following reasons:
Limited Resistance to Mind Manipulation (Able to gradually break free from Bray Wyatt's mind control)
However, I’m proposing that Cena should be given Supernatural Willpower.
Not only did Cena quite literally willed himself out of Bray’s control, but one of the many things people with Supernatural Willpower can do is resist being possessed and mind controlled.
And, while I doubt this would be added as additional support for Supernatural Willpower, it’s worth a shot.
Prior to his Last Man Standing Match with Edge, Cena took a conchairto six days earlier, which meant he wasn’t one hundred percent going into the match. However, during the match, he took a Spear, a mid-air Spear, and a conchairto, and he still got up before the count of 10, despite being incapable of responding to the count of 10 six days prior to this match when he took a conchairto. Right after getting up from the conchairto, Big Show chokeslammed Cena through what was stated to be a 7,000 watt surge light, and that he suffered back and internal injuries. However, the night after on RAW he came back and was able to walk on his own two feet.
The description for Supernatural Willpower says the following:
“Although some characters can be considered to have a great will to achieve their goals or give their all in a fight, characters that have a willpower on this level can go vastly beyond what should logically be possible for them, with more extreme cases being able to oppose natural phenomena such as death.”
As you can see from the links provided, Cena took an attack that originally put him down for the count of 10 six days prior to his match. He then took the same exact attack during his match with Edge that put him down for the count of 10, yet this time he actually beat the count.
Keep in mind, this was after Cena came into the match not 100% thanks to the attack six days ago, as well as taking a great deal of punishment during the match. Cena clearly exerted himself far beyond what was logically possible for him.
Also giving John Cena Supernatural Willpower just feels right
Now, time for Taker.
In Taker's Boneyard Match with AJ Styles, Taker took a beating so bad that he was gasping for air (the ongoing story is that he's old and washed so yeah)
Styles then hits Taker with a shovel and sends him into a grave. However, just before Styles can bury Taker, Taker suddenly appears right behind Styles and attacks him.
Something that stands out is that Taker seemingly looks completely fine once he came back, as well as the fact that AJ's punches no longer did any damage to him.
This is a pretty Supernatural looking ability, and there are a couple of factors to consider here.
1. Taker went from literally wheezing for air to being completely fine afterwards
2. Styles’ punches no longer did any damage to Taker
One thing to get out of the way is that Taker clearly teleported out of the grave to behind AJ, though Teleportation is already an ability Taker has. However, after looking through the powers and abilities sections, here’s what I could come up with as potential abilities:
Damage Reduction - Styles’ punches being seemingly ineffective on Taker could be Taker reducing the damage of Styles’ attacks
Invulnerability - Styles’ punches no longer doing any damage to Taker could be Taker using this ability to make sure Styles’ attacks no longer do any harm to him
Statistics Amplification - Taker appearing perfectly fine and Styles’ punches doing no damage can potentially indicate the fact that Taker amplified his physical abilities to give himself an instant advantage
Regeneration + Adrenaline - Taker going from wheezing for air to reappearing and seeming perfectly fine afterwards could potentially be a sign of Regeneration (Low), and Styles’ punches doing no damage is just a case of adrenaline
And that's all.
Agree - @DaReaperMan (Agrees with SW and Stat Amps), @Deceived3596 (Agrees with SW and Stat Amps), @Kachon123 (Agrees with SW for Cena), @TWILIGHT-OP (Agrees with SW for Cena)
Disagree - @Kachon123 (Disagrees with the listed options for The Undertaker and suggests he should have Rage Power)
Neutral -
