It wouldn't even be 4th Wall Awareness since we don't know what he means by what he says. The setting where he lives looks like a game, if thre is an evil person plotting to do something over years then you could say everyone acting normally, as expected, is part of a "game", w/o meaning to say that Jevil is aware that he's part of a videogame.

well I've gotten into the lore and deeper theories and I've pretty much concluded that there's almost nothing else he could possibly be talking about

Well my first thought was that he was referring to the dark world being everyday objects in the light world, but it'd make no sense for the cryptic secret bosses to to tell us something that everybody already knows, and based on a lot of instances of dialogue, all darkners have memories of things from before the dark world was actually created while they were just objects. And Spamton talking about being a puppet doesn't make sense in that context at all.
4th wall awareness is the obvious choice given the parallels to characters like sans, ralsei, and flowey

Half of the statistics were just "Unknown" and the powers used leaps in logic, like Void Manip due to the Followers disappearing after you talk to them.
