The word ‘concept’ sounded vague and intangible.

In the mortal realms, if a martial artist wanted to comprehend a single ‘concept’, the would not know where to start. What was the ‘concept’? It wasn’t something that was one could easily grasp.

The ‘concept’ was in truth a law. It was a force of nature; once it was comprehended, one could control a core of power. In the wide world, everything had its own inherent laws.

A Concept was a utilization of the power of Laws. The power of Laws was the underlying strength and origin source of every force in the entire universe.

For instance, water would flow to the lowest valley; fire would rise to the highest peak. Yin and Yang supported and restrained each other, and life and death and so forth. These were the most basic of laws.

Extend the law deep into the soul and control the origin of all things. This was what a ‘concept’ meant.

For a martial artist to comprehend a concept, they did not need to resist, but to harmonize and conform to the natural laws around them, and feel the power of the it.

Concept are the origin of all thing, I think that's enough for type 1 as they exist outside all thing.

It can be Type 1 if it's exist outside and independent of all things/reality itself. But quotes above makes me thinks it is Type 2 because the world can't separated from Concept and inseparable from its govern and thus making it dependent to reality. Or am i missing something?

The Heavenly Dao was eternally immutable. It was the underlying nomological reason for the continued existence of the Heavenly Dao and myriad items. All things in the world followed its laws.

Any mortal being would feel tiny and powerless when facing the Heavenly Dao.

The Heavenly Dao was omnipotent and omnipresent. When a martial artist cultivated the Laws, they would comprehend the Heavenly Dao and follow its rules to display their skills. Cultivation methods, martial skills, every Concept, everything was through methods defined by the Heavenly Dao.

Laws and Concepts were simply a generalization that everyone used; there wasn’t a true difference between them. But, if there was a difference, then that would be that Laws encompassed a great domain while Concepts were more concrete and specific.

Metal, wood, water, fire, earth, thunder, wind, time, space, light, darkness, life, death… everyone and everything that existed in this universe corresponded to the Laws. When one’s understanding of Laws reached the peak, that was when they could touch upon the very source of the universe!

This was a concept that reached the height of the Great Dao, all-encompassing and supreme.

The Laws were a part of the Heavenly Dao, but they werent everything.

That does not really say it's the source of properties. It says it's the source of forces, but yeah, the laws of physics is the source of forces. And you can describe a lot of abstract things as a "source".
It passes for Concept Type 3 at best IMO.

It is the origin of all thing and the origin of universe. It is on the second and third scans.

And it is not a simple passing mention, laws are part of heavenly Dao and mentioned as "The Origin of All Things" (the laws itself, not thr Dao) at least hundred times in the first nove.

As long as there is a straightforward scan saying laws or concepts came first, and then the things they are laws/concepts of originated from them, then Type 1 would make sense to me. If there isn't, it's probably Type 2.

It is I think, as even primordial chaos and chaos law is a mere fragments of heavenly Dao.

At first, the world began in infinite chaos. This chaos energy was vast and endless. As it flooded the universe, it seemed great without limit, and yet it also seemed infinitesimally small, as if it could all be concentrated into a single spot without any volume at all. In chaos, there was neither space nor time, there was nothing to hear or anything to feel, so how could anything be called large or small?

Chaos represented the limitless, and limitless represented the world before heaven, a reality without beginning nor end. No one could guess the meaning behind it. Besides the universe itself, no one was able to understand its cryptic mysteries

First there was the infinite exhaustible void, then there was primal chaos, then there was yin yang energies, which later divided into the five elements, which grew into celestial bodies, and which finally gave birth to all life and creation.

From the hazy void, grandmist energy emerged, an energy that surpassed a star in weight. On these stars, countless complex life forms evolved, growing and changing. Just how many Laws of the Heavenly Dao were observed in these changes? Just how many truths of the Great Dao were contained within?

Chaos Laws were not directly related to any of the basic Laws. But, the Chaos Laws were all-encompassing. It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that from this moment on, Lin Ming had truly stepped into the divine pantheon of the universe’s source Laws.

Spirit source was the source of the universe’s Heavenly Dao and basically the soul of the universe. In other words, the source of ‘divine’.

As for the soul of the universe, if that were to be called a different name, then that would be… the Heavenly Dao!

From the very start, Lin Ming never understood just what the Heavenly Dao was. He only knew that it was an extremely abstract existence. But at the same time, the Heavenly Dao seemed to have a thought and will of its own, punishing anyone that dared to violate its edicts.

Heavenly Dao is the "Divine" of the universe, completely separated from the physical reality. All matter, space and time are created from grandmist energy while the immutable and eternal abstract concept such as heavenly Dao are created from spirit source.

This was a concept that reached the height of the Great Dao, all-encompassing and supreme.

I believe this statement probably qualifies for this:

Basically, there was chaos first, and from chaos, Yin and yang were formed, then the five elements, which finally gave birth to creation.

I believe this is sufficient for type 1, no? Not to mention, there are many statements of concepts being "the source of existence", "the origin of the world", etc... and by being the source/origin, albeit a bit vague, it already implies that they came first before the things they created. Along with the statement above, I believe this is enough for type 1.
