Is this Telekinesis or Possession?

Hotsuma's sword Akujiki has a will of it's own. When on of Hotsuma's friends picked it up, it started sucking out her soul. She was unable to ans stated she couldn't let go of the sword even though she wanted to.

What power would this be considered?, the sword can make people hold it against their will.

Here's the clip. At 23:20 Moritsune asks Ageha to let go of the sword but she says she can't. Moritsune then tells her that the sword will steal her soul and she asks what can she do and that leads to Moritsune cutting himself across the face to feed Akujiki's hunger and Ageha was able to let go of the blade.

After close inspection, it's Mind Manipulation after all. The sword could probably push Moritsune back if it had Telekinesis.
