Character R gets erased across infinite universes and gets erased completely, due to this they basically end up in the "void" where all the deleted beings live. Turns out the character already had a back up plan in the void which they use to come back to reality. It's stated they became "non canon" from the erasure.

Its about Rick lol, he pissed off the universes (yes the universe itself) after killing her husband. So she made it that Rick would be banned from all realities and basically get erased entirely which made him end up in the void with everything thats non canon that also don't exist anymore. Yet he reveals to survive in this multiverse he has to think of any possibility including NOT thinking about making a escape route from this place and then forgetting about it so this whole idea is... not real which means it IS real here in the non canon void.

Honestly it seems like a weakness for the EE thing rather than a full on regeneration/resurrection thingy

From what I know we do give characters Immortality and Ressurection if they can like die, go to their after life or whatever and come back iirc?

I don't know, but Rick being able to escape that place is already whats actually impressive and what grants him this option

yeah but that's considered as people souls or something going to a different realm, here he was supposed to be erased and from what you described he was fine and all just in some ass void outside of existence

I dont think its BFR or a mix of both because both trustworthy sources consider this a “erasure” and the Parmeesan lady even claims Rick and Morty won’t ever exist with this

she said "see you nowhere" and rick states he was expelled from the multiverse which sounds like BFR

unless you mean the whole "rick and morty should have never existed to begin with" but that has nothing to with EE

She says Rick and Morty would have never existed ever, and then Rick claims he is now not canon and doesn’t exist. In the comic its made clear many times none of them exist, they are erased from reality and thats why they are in a non existent “non dimension”
