I'll try to make this brief. In Helltaker, it's stated by Pandemonica that it takes a lot of will to explore. Exploring hell uses up more and more of your will. In levels, it's depicted as a number counter, the amount of turns you get per puzzle. She also states if you run out of will, you die:
And much to no one's surprise. She's right. If your will meter runs out (your will) in the levels, your character is instantly killed on the spot. I wrote this on a character's sandbox, that this is a resistance to death manip, since their willpower negates dying instantly (Obviously only in Hell, she says it takes a lot of will to explore Hell only).
Am I right in this assumption, or is this merely a weakness of the hax? For example, think of mind-control, but its weakness is that it only works on evil people, meaning all good characters would be immune to its effects. In this case, I guess you could infer only those with no will are affected?
I'm not 100% certain on it, as I thought it was a case similar to how character's usually resisted mind-hax through a lot of willpower which grants them resistance, but I've grown curious on if this is legitimate or not.
