Context:
In the movie "Last Action Hero" Danny is transported into the world of his favorite action movie franchise (Jack Slater) via a supernatural ticket and becomes the partner of the eponymous hero (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) to investigate criminal activities related to mafia boss Tony Vivaldi.
Explanation: (I don't know if this will be understandable, but I'll do my best.)
Towards the end of Last Action Hero, Jack Slater and the main antagonist (Mr Benedict, former Tony Vivaldi's right hand and assassin), and his minion, go to the real world using the ticket that had allowed Danny to come to their world.
Benedict uses the ticket's dimensional travel ability to travel to other films, including returning to his world to engage Ripper, an enemy of Slater who died in Slater III, before he dies. At the end of Last Action Hero, Ripper and Benedict both die, killed by Slater in the real world.
After that Slater comes back to his world and says he doesn't want to shoot people and blow up buildings anymore.
So I have two questions:
1- Does the fact that Slater and Benedict (and other fictional characters in the verse) are able to travel to the real world, to break the 4th wall (because Slater and Benedict did that in their world when they learned they were fictional characters) and interact with Danny (who comes from the real world) give them Resistance to Plot Manipulation? These three things are absolutely not written in the script of the Slater movies (they are just classic action movies), and yet the characters in these movies can naturally do them.
2- As I said, Benedict hired the Ripper before the latter died at the end of Slater III, and Ripper died killed by Slater (again) in the real world. But the thing is that, logically, the events of the movie Slater III still took place in Slater's world, so Ripper is still dead at the end of this movie despite the fact that he is also now dead in the real world. Is this Acausality?
