Is dodging spears comparable to dodging arrows?

If a character manages to dodge a spear (or any similar objects like pitchforks and tridents) hurled by a character who's stated to be physically superior to any human and is also several feet away from them, would it be comparable to arrow dodging feats, which are listed as subsonic most of the time? i just really dont want to calc the feat okay

unless they are thrown by a superhuman individual (granted, that individual is that fast), no. If you want to calculate a spear thrown, try finding the distance and height at wich was thrown, then the parabolic launching formula.

no? the speed of a thrown object depends on the speed of the person throwing it, and based on this itd only be vaguely superhuman, if the guy has better speed feats or the person dodging the spear dodges it when its really close it could be higher

Throwing javelins depends on the strength/speed of the character throwing them and it's not a standard assumption to assume they're always on par with arrows. Though speaking of arrows, they also very depending on the strength of the archer and how well made the bow is.

Depends on the speed it was thrown by the individual compared to the speed of the arrow plus how far away they were when they did it and if the person dodging has stuff that amps their reactions like seeing the future.
