Lloyd is said to be able to create and destroy life. He got Life Manip for that, but shouldn't he also gain Death Manipulation over it?

I think the text meant it metaphorically, like how I tell my friend that I will erase him from existence if he ever drinks my apply again, but I can't. That's the thing, it's just to make the sentence more flowery~
