Invincible season 3 discussion

That was honestly pretty good!!
The animation was incredible without feeling too "anime"

I think the team must've spent half their time just animating that fight or something LOL

The camera angles were crazy! It was awesome.

They added a lot of show original scenes. The space scene, the atom even sequence, new Conquest dialogue... Oooh this one is actually peak.

Anyway, can confidently say this season was way better than Season 2.

Conquest being the Viltrum Empire's internally feared attack dog and receiving his moniker that defines his whole purpose because of that fact is such an appropriate element added in this adaptation

I hope they drive home how fast Conquest was beating Mark around the planet. I want to see environment transitions instead of shot cuts. Maybe they can give us a shot from space like with Nolan on the Flaxan homeworld.

I imagine it'll be something like this
The series gave him a continental feat, the Texas meteor feat, "bench pressing the moon" and so on.I'd say they could give him a speed feat.
RIP

Conquest blowing a bubble out of his own blood and shaping it into a heart using the cold of space

He doing too much

That animation was so beautiful that it legit almost looks like a different show at times

I didn't comment on this in the CRT, but Viltrumites absolutely have better senses than humans. If theirs eyesight was human level, they'd never be able to track a single planet in all of space. Mark utilized his 10x vision to see Oliver being made twice the fun.

also...Conquest is able to make a bubble of blood in space...where there is no oxygen and it is cold has ****...should not that at least give him self-sustance?

He formed it using the air in his lungs.

This dude is kind of reckless with his air. That might come back to bite him.

Well, this is really the best episode of the season.
I kept the whole fight in suspense until the very end. It's a pity, of course, that we didn't see the scene where Mark gets beaten up all over the world, but we had a cool reference to the finale of the first season. Yes, they saved on animation at times, but many angles corrected this, and the scene in space may well become a meme.

Can anyone who reads the comics tell me which scenes were new? Did Conquest also tell Mark that he's the Dead Inside and 1000-7?

It's strange that Mark, after his experience with Levi, didn't come to the conclusion that you need to rip off your enemies' heads, just to be sure, but I'll put it down to a state of shock.

It's even more strange that an incredible wild sexual energy is raging at Rex's funeral, otherwise I don't understand why both main couples of the series openly flirt with each other and kiss. It's a good thing it didn't come to an orgy. And maybe it's a pity that it didn't come to that...

lets be honest, it is impossible for Mark to foresee that Angstrom was alive, MAN HAD THE FACE COMPLETELY MADE SHIT, and somehow, the guy is still alive.
and actually, with Conquest he learned to actually destroy everything...but Cecil decided "it is time, to screw things"

We can all agree that the latest episode supports Rage Power for TV Mark, which would also give it to Comic Mark for achieving the same feat, right ?

No one can blame him for Levi. What happened to him is beyond human capabilities. Especially in the show, where his wounds are much more horrific than in the comic. I even liked this stupid animation where his sprawled brain and pieces of his head, which are held on a millimeter flap of skin, gently pull behind him when he is dragged into the portal, do not fall off and are in the same position, as if they are glued with glue.

However, to be skeptical, he should have been more careful with the Quest. He had already seen a Viltrumite fight against his father with his guts out and his body pierced. After the incident with Levi, he probably should have become more violent towards the corpses of dangerous enemies.

I mean conquest directly says otherwise. The only reason why mark was able to do better was due to the fact that he was literally sacrificing parts of his body

thats why he asked Cecil to burn the body

Was anyone else incredibly turned on at Rex's funeral?
If I had a girlfriend, we would definitely kiss there.
