Invincible season 3 discussion

Also Capes has been coming back for a redraw and continuation. And there's now 2 more characters that are chain scaled to Low 5-B. Though one is only with an amp.
I hope we get some decent feats in the upcoming issues along with in the upcoming Battle Beast issues.
I know that. Fun fact about the redraw is that they sort-of retconned Kid Thor's hammer's origin and showed Thor fighting the Great Dragon with it, instead of a random monster. Cool detail, not sure how usable it is as Kid Thor amping the hammer could only dent Construct's armor lol

Ella Mental will also show up, I wonder if her Weather Manipulation would upgrade anyone as plenty of characters in Capes would scale to Black Samson's base

I saw that. Isn't Great Dragon only rated Low 5-B when he was amped by Liu being near death? I can't recall him chain scaling to anyone Low 5-B otherwise

She could get some good storm feats. We'll just have to wait and see

He fought Omni-Man for over ten hours in #1, and fended off Mark in two occasions so there's that. Then again he's a tertiary character so he doesn't really get to do anything, Guarding The Globe would've been over pretty quickly otherwise

Brit's nuke vest (Just to make his profile as thorough as possible, he uses so much to make up for his lack of strength)
Small Town level
Donald surviving helicopter explosion (Only really scales to him. I've seen these can get up to 8-B we should aim for that to pitch him against Comic Homelander)
Wall-Small Building level lol
Class 5

Obviously we can't really tell the story from these covers, but in the event that Conquest does end up fighting Battle Beast how would we treat it ? Battle Beast got way stronger after this, or was Thragg that heavily handicapped from is injuries ?

Late reply but it’s assumed that BB is about to 2v1 Juggernaut/Colossus before he fights Conquest. Ryan Ottley also confidently states that Thragg is a decent bit stronger and faster than BB, and that the latter had to fight in very specific way to keep up.

Also did anyone see that Thragg trailer? They might be giving him a lot more show-original feats
That's what I'm thinking too. The one feat of flying through some sort of cloud or debris in space (Maybe Viltrum's remains?) could get to Tier 5.
Thragg seems super op in this trailer

Only 2 more weeks
yupp also the trailer was peak

nicee, we might have to do a redo of pre-timeskip Thragg vs Battle Beast cuz Battle Beast won that matchup T-T

Besides the fact this is how Ottley personally (without Kirkman's input) imagines the fight would play out, it doesn't even make sense how it's described.
The only thing Thragg might be faster than Battle Beast is travel through his flight because it's not like he's hitting Battle Beast with a flurry of punches compared to how, for example, Bulletproof can against the Maulers. And the "very specific way" is just close combat, which is just how Battle Beast fights, unless you imply he was doing sneak attacks the whole fight (which btw, it's not like he got him from behind or something, he was in front of Thragg and simply turned his head around fast enough to catch him off-guard, so again, he's not that much faster)

And the way the rest of the fight plays out (written by Kirkman) requires them to be incredibly evenly matched

Very clever quote-cutting on your end. You conveniently left out the part where Ottley says “This page was particularly different than most because Robert said in the script that I can do whatever I'd like, just make them both fighting.” It’s literally his interpretation of the battle being translated into art on that page.

What ? I acknowledge that at the very start of my comment
