So if a Verse has an Author Figure, and the MC of the verse is only winning, struggling, etc due to what that Author is writing, then does that mean sed MC has some form of plot armor?

Also, would this give the character in question some off brand Plot Manipulation, as they are guaranteed to win due to a higher entity controlling everything about them?
