Immortality vs Regenerationn

Madara claimed to be immortal. But only show Regenerationn feats. How can we be absolutely certain that what he said is true and it what way does it apply.

Kaguya has the same thing going on for her, but nothing came close enough to actually harm her or kill her in her own world. She transform into her original ten tail beast form and then transform into her human form. Can she really regenerate from chakra or is that a transformation. Can we say that she can tank a Kamehameha from Super Goku because she is immortal?

Same goes for Aizen, Gerard and Lille from Bleach.

In my opinion it was Regenerationn, not shapeshifting,it was actually shown how she transformed her body out of pure chakra.Just my point of view.(not sure if that applies to sharinnegan Madara,he didnt show that).

Because immortality type 3 is immortality via Regenerationn?
But "how do we determine" the NLF of that possibility. Just because their "Regenerationn" didn't show limits doesn't make them truly "immortal."

But that just it. She wasn't able to regenerate her arm until she enter that transformation and change back.

We don't know that she wouldn't be able to regenerate her arm given time. Madara didn't regenerate his lower half straight away but after he had grabbed Obito and took back his Rinnegan.

How is immortality via regen NLF. Doesn't mean he's aboslutely immortal, just that he can't be killed unless you can get past his regen.

If you can die, you are not immortal.

Plenty of characters who have immortality listed can die under the right circumstance. Type 5 is absolute immortality and Madara doesn't have that.
