Does it exist in a place with no past or future, no consequences, would it be anything?

Context: a character was thrown into a dimension created by a being, the dimension is mentioned as having no past or future, just the present, but the protagonist character is not bothered by this and even kills the entity.

What would that be? Because normally it takes a future and past to guarantee someone's existence, but he exists in a place without it.
