So Lord X is way stronger but he’d have to deplete Sonic’s rings in order to kill him. The problem is how insane Sonic’s skill level is considering he beat Shadow twice. Add on Chaos Control and Sonic has many methods of avoiding ever taking a good hit. He also has Supernatural Willpower and resistance to Empathic/Mind Manipulation to take the SI Lord X has. Sonic will easily adapt to his fighting style which seems to just be spamming hax, so the only real problem is finishing him. Chaos Control seems like an easy way to get Lord X off the field with its range, though that’s dubious given Sonic’s aversion to the ability.

There’s a slight chance Lord X lands the one shot, but it seems more likely Sonic seals him before that can happen once he realizes the gap in power. I’m voting the real Sonic.
