Cole absorbs Bio Electric Energy. There are different forms id EM. Being resistant to say; Magical Energy doesn't suddenly make you resistant to Radiation energy. Supe's either resists it and this goes incon, or he doesn't and gets drained.

He likely can. Cole absorbs Neuro Electricity. Not life force or anything. It doesn't take much of it to move your body. And absorbing Sunlight won't bring back the electricity he needs to function.

Seriously guys, one thing is putting a very strong High 6-A against a semi-haxxed 5-B. One thing is putting a Low 7-C with tier 1 haxes against tier 3s/tier2s.

But putting a High 6-C against a 4-B like Superman is, if not wank beyond what is excusable, a SEVERE overestimation of Cole's abilities.

Just as a reminder, Superman isn't exactly a stranger to Regenerationn. In fact, there are villain characters generally on his level who have it.

Doomsday is one.

Despero is another.

Etriga is a third.

Cole's regen is better than theirs, but come on son. Even if he does manage to come back from the kind of astronomical damage that Supes' heat vision would do to him, Supes can incap easily. And knowing his past experiences with the above three, he'll have the foresight to do so.

Supes can easily turn Cole into a fine mist right from the getgo, and him coming back is just going to get him frozen or tossed into space.
