In fairness of The End...

+ It can handle 4 Super Sonic level opponents at once.

+ Its lasers, which can one-shot Super Sonic, would still harm Hyper since it negates Invulnerability.

+ Sonic will be forced to take a much more active approach in this fight, as he's without the Light and Dark bullets that can help form breathing room in its attack patterns.

I think it can still give Hyper Sonic a decent challenge, especially since it's one resilient bastard, but it falls flat aside from that.

Hyper Sonic has many more advantages.

+ Still stronger to enough of a degree that he won't need Supreme Sage to assist him.
++ Also faster, especially with the techniques at his disposal, to more easily avoid its attacks

+ Can use the homing lasers that he used against The End as Super Sonic to clear out its projectiles without Sage.

+ Blatantly the superior fighter in terms of skill, this'll be like another Tuesday for him.

+ A lot of other stuff that comes with the perks of being a long-standing video game character.

TL;DR - Sonic defies Death in an even cooler way this time, he has my vote.
