Everyone who can utilze nen, which is invisible and intangible, can sense and see it. Normal humans cannot see it and can merely feel the pressure of Ren without understanding what is happening. Gon even with his enhanced sense cannot see nen. Gyo enhances this perception even more allowing them to see through two degrees of invisibility, "In".
