Jason was getting stronger every movie tbf. In Part II he was basically a strong human, in Part III he could easily crush skulls, and in Part IV he chucked a dead body through some wooden beams and broke a door easily. So him struggling to break doors in Part II/III isn't necessarily a knock on his Part IV self.

Yeah, my comment was about him struggling to break down doors in II and III. Only comparable feats to the Part IV door break from my memory is this one and maybe this one. I imagine only the second would be anywhere close to wall level and that's probably still iffy.
