How to measure someone's ability when it comes to dimensional?

I have read the relative page about this. However, not all the concept will say "He's 6-dimensional", "She's 8-dimensional". I hope someone could tell me a simple way to measure it because these theories is hard to know and most of characters are somewhat don't follow these theories.
