How to know a character is 3D-4D-5D-6D whatever

Anything up to Low 1-C is 4D
and then 1-C contains 5D and 6D
1-B contains 7D 8D? Whatever thats the question

Depends on the context. Hax potency or just AP. Plenty of characters with 4D or higher AP might be 3D physically with no resistances

Asriel and Chara have 4d AP but this should not necessarily translate to their hax I think. They got their tier via destruction feats and they are still 3D physically and can be affected by 3D stuff
