How much force do you need to punch Lava out of a Volcano?

In the Donkey Kong vs Knuckles death battle, Wiz said that punch had to be at least 3.9 Megatons (Small City level+)

That's an incredibly small Volcano, and that doesn't even look like lava coming out of it, just fire. Plus, unless he did it in the show, we cannot scale off of openings.

@Elione-Arisu What's that on the asteroid? If you have another screenshot of that thing in comparison to characters, the asteroid can be scaled.

No, I'm saying that due to the small size of the Volcano and the fact that it shoots fire, not lava, it be hard to derive a result from. I could use latant heat, but the asteroid feat would most likely yield higher results.

@Adamjensen

More like it didn't happen within the show itself and the fact that the premise is flawed as a result of the volcano's size and the general appearance of what came out of it. Therefore it isn't really usable.

Darkanine:

For now let's pretend that Boom Knuckles broke the smallest asteroid in real life instead of the bigger asteroid he broke in the Sonic Boom series. What tier would that put Boom Knuckles?

@Reppuzan. Yeah, I forgot that it wasn't in the actual show, just opening.

@Adam. The smallest asteroid is 2 Meters. It's vagely spherical so I'll use a sphere with 1 Meter as its radius.

(4 × pi × 1^3)/3 = 4.1 m^3

4.1 * 1,000,000 = 4,100,000 cm^3

4,100,000 * 8 = 32,800,000 J

32.8 MJ, so low-ish Room level I think.

I see. The asteroid in Sonic Boom that Knuckles punched I estimate is around 50m long.

Assuming a sphere and assuming fragmentation, that would result in yields in the range of 8-A (multi-city-block).

Then an upgrade to 8-A for Boom Knuckles seems reasonable.

Hey I'm not a calc guy. That was just a very basic calc I attempted. You're going to have to get someone to do a proper calc of the feat in question.

We typically use the Kinetic Energy of asteroids over their Destructive values as that yields much greater results. For example, the violent fragmentation value for the Chicxulub asteroid is only 60+ Gigatons. But, like I said, i someone can provide a better shot of that ship near the asteroid, I can scale it and get a less assumed value.

I never intended for any hostility. Don't take this the wrong way.

I never took it the wrong way and did not intend to come off as hostile. I was merely pointing something out.

Sorry for the wait. Here are pics of the size of the thing he used to get to the asteroid, and one with him next to the "door"

Low quality image, sorry

Yeah, as people mentioned, the opening is not usable. It's like using the cover where Saitama punches the moon as evidence.
