You see in profiles some people have stuff like Gifted in Combat. Genius in combat. And Extraordinary Genius in combat.
And you have matchups where people will declare it a skill stomp. But what qualifies? Especially since it seems a majority of the profiles only comment on the general intelligence and not their skill.
Speed, strength, and durability, that stuff is clearly defined.
But are there such lines for combat intelligence? What qualifies? What feats in the absence of descriptions? Also frankly I've seen some use the phrase "process like a supercomputer" when justifying extraordinary genius in combat. But doesn't that automatically qualify just about all robotic combatants? Might need a bit of refining.
I have a verse and I'm trying to place down where they are skill wise.
It's a war between humans and aliens. The aliens have the ability to learn and adapt to everything they come across. Kill 30 of them and they evolve a counter to whatever weapon or tactic you used to do it. And it's gotten so bad the humans avoid fighting them because they just keep learning and adapting to what they use.
But the humans formed an elite division of supersoldiers. A single supersoldier is expected to be able to solo thousands aliens in direct combat without any worry about their ability to learn and evolve. In one battle they expected to be outnumbered one thousand to one and they considered it an easy win. But it's when they realized their numbers were wrong and they were outnumbered 16 thousand to one they actually grew concerned.
And amongst the supersoldiers is the head supersoldier who once solo'd around 12 supersoldiers at the same time.
The aliens being unable to overcome the human supersoldiers study them and conceive their own version. One that can actually match the human supersoldiers in one on one combat by having the alien learning ability to the extreme. So much so he was discovered by the supersoldiers as he was being birthed. So he started out as having zero coordination and being unable to even walk. As mentioned, newborn. There was even uncertainty about attacking it since all it was doing was staring wide eyed at everything. But after about one minute of being attacked, he matched them then defeated them by learning what they can do. Actually whereas the human supersoldiers could kill thousands of aliens per soldier, this alien supersoldier racks up a kill of several dozen human supersoldiers.
That's when he comes across the head supersoldier. Across several battles, the alien supersoldier is never able to defeat the head human supersoldier and every time the battle ends because of other circumstances.
So the two I'm trying to focus on is the alien supersoldier and the head human supersoldier. Can they qualify as extraordinary genius? One can learn so fast he goes from new born to fighting on par and overcoming his attacker and the other is so skilled that the alien couldn't beat him.
