How does hypertime work in DC after being reintroduced in rebirth.

Now a multiverse and hypertime exsit at the same time so how does this work. Anyone who understands this any help would be appreciated.

It was reintroduced or rather defined in detail in Converg Flash #2, a little bit before Rebirth. Basically Hypertime is higher time that covers the iterations of the multiverse. Its the concept that makes pretty much the majority of DC stories canon/accesible. For example, Post-Crisis and Pre-Crisis are both points in Hypertime.

So hypertime is the different universes in the multiverse? I'm still having a hard time understanding it. How does it fit in which everything. Is it higher than the multiverse is it lower is it the same. I thought the whole thing about the multiverse was that it made everything canon as different universes. Hypertime seems redundant and honestly pointless.

Nah not like different universes. Usually on panel visually it looks like web that connects all the different realities. Destroying everything in Hypertime would be higher than destroying everything in the multiverse because you would be destroying all the multiverses in continunity as opposed to just the current one. So the reason why the current multiverse is infinite is because Hypertime was used to stop CoIE from happening how it did. Since the infinite universes were never destroyed and condensed they still exist in the current multiverse.

Read this: Convergence Flash Issue #2 Should give you a better idea than I can explain.

So is gog beyond multiversal than? And does superman have beyond multiversal durability since he was shot with a blast that broke a hole in hypertime?

Isnt there only 1 multiverse in continuity that has just gone through significant changes?

Blasting a hole =/= Destroying it so not really.

Theres more than 1 multiverse like Dark Multiverse, Empty Hand's Multiverse ..etc. Hypertime kinda catologues the changes to the multiverse so to speak.
