How do I make tags for a new character profile?

I'm making a VS match that includes 2 character profiles I recently created, so I had to create a tag for them in the forum.

However the tags I created don't work at all. Despite having the same name as the characters' profiles, the thread with that tag doesn't appear in that character's discussions.

To be more clear, I made a profile called "Juan Salvo (The Eternaut Comic)". I then made a VS thread with the tag "Juan Salvo (The Eternaut Comic)". But when I press the discussions button in that profile that says "Discussions involving Juan Salvo (The Eternaut Comic)", the VS thread isn't there. What tag do I need to do to make it show up?

The problem is not with the tag, but with the discussion template. It doesn't like certain symbols, so you have to edit the page to make it work.

What I usually do is just copy how the tag is written in the url (so for Juan Salvo, it would be 'juan-salvo-the-eternaut-comic') and then put it into the discussion template like this:

{{discussions|juan-salvo-the-eternaut-comic}}
