Hey, "Renfield (2023)" incorporates "Dracula (1931)" into its continuity. What to do?

The opening scene of Renfield (2023) depicts Renfield's narrations over reused footage from the 1931 Dracula film, presented in a black-and-white 3:4 aspect ratio to emulate the original, and replacing the original actors for Renfield and Dracula, Dwight Frye and Bela Lugosi, in scenes in which they physically appear with Nicholas Hoult and Nicolas Cage, respectively. Does this mean that Renfield (2023) is allowed to scale from Dracula (1931)?

Are Dracula's Daughter (feat. Von Helsing) and Son of Dracula written out of continuity, then, or can they reasonably fit within the period between Dracula and Renfield? Because, if the latter is the case, then Dracula can return from being burned to ashes in a fire.
