Hello, I have a question about fundamental aspects of reality (or foundation of reality).

What is a foundation of reality? I have seen many power-scaling states that it doesn’t automatically mean space-time. However, whenever I research it on google space-time is all that shows up? So how we know if foundation of reality refers to space time or something else like an infinite void for an example.

Google won't give you a good answer for that, since it gives results based mostly on science theories, such as Relativity, which always takes Space-Time as the foundation of Reality.

However, in fiction, it can vary. It depends on how "Conceptual" the foundation is. Basically;
  • Space-Time is the foundation of Dimensional Reality
  • A Page is the foundation of a manga/fictional setting.
  • Composite Physicality is the foundation of Physical Reality
etc. A foundation is basically something without which Reality cannot exist. Dimensions cannot exist without Space and Time[Dimensions literally ARE Space and time]; a manga cannot exist without the page on which it is drawn on; Physicality cannot exist without the Composite physical substance building it up. "Composite" Physicality includes non-conventional physical things such as Space-Time as well, by the way.

Thank you for answering! So let me make sure I am understanding correctly if I were to manipulate the fundamental aspects of our reality I would be manipulating space-time (aka dimension) within our reality?

Technically, yes, but it won't count as something like Dimensional Manipulation or Space-Time Manipulation just from that. It depends on the scope of the ability in-verse, since essentially, most abilities on wiki are ultimately different forms of Reality warping given different contexts.
