As much as i don't like it, Edward. The sparkling vampire is just too much faster.
Although, i don't know how much Edward could hurt him. Maybe if he threw a car at him or something.
Mind Reading + Speed makes it very hard for Hellboy to land a hit.
I feel your undermining Hellboy. Not saying Edward wins but Hellboy has a shot. He's also quite fast granted probably not as much as Edward.
I can definitely tell you this. Despite his huge appearance. He's nowhere close to being slow considering his gorilla like build. He's far above and faster & agile than a Peak human Olympic Athlete. That's for sure. He's capable of keeping up with lightning quick supernatural swordsmen (elves, vampires, demons, you name it) in a sword fight and can also jump great distances.

Hellboy was quick enough to keep up with Prince Nuada and precise enough to chop a waterdrop in half after splashing a bunch of water a second before. The first fight Hellboy was drunk and got distracted in the end, second time he won handily and spared his life.
While makes up for Hellboy's speed is his durability however. I think all Edward's speed will do is evade the invitable, sooner or later Hellboy I feel will win as Edward's durability isn't as impressive.
Hellboy has a high degree of resilience to injury. He can take beatings from bigger monsters and come out unharmed, powerful blows that would severely injure or kill a human, survived being shot many times in the chest with an MG42 machine gun before destroying it. He has survived being impaled through the chest with a sword, severe werewolf maulings, being beaten unconscious with heavy iron tongs, falling from extreme heights, being crushed by boulders and more. It's also stated that Hellboy is immune to all forms of fire and burns, including Liz Sherman's flames and resistance to electrocution as one time he tanked a electric attack that was enough to put out an entire city and came he came out just fine. Despite his ability to recover from seemingly mortal wounds, he is far from invulnerable however and can be injured or bloodied by conventional weapons. It is revealed to Baba Yaga by the dead Russian nobility that Hellboy may not be slain even through supernatural means and that he appears to be as deathless as her warrior, Koschei the Deathless.
Hellboy also possesses a regenerative healing factor, nowhere close to Wolverine level but still pretty helpful as well as possessing magicial charms and artifacts that can ward off powerful creatures. Depending on what Hellboy carries. Those could counter Edward.
Here's also more to put into Hellboy's durability.
Hellboy's fights in the first movie and second movie against Sammael, Nuada's sidekick and some other still puts him above Edward in durability.

Also movie Hellboy is no slouch either, Kroenan in the first movie was fast enough to react to hand gun bullets and send them flying back to the cops.

And then later Hellboy had no problem keeping up with him and beating him.

In other words. Both comic and movie Hellboy can take on superhuman beings that are well beyond peak human or superhuman in terms of strength and speed.
