Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

Still outlier since it's illogical for angry Alastor to not go straight up for the kill, and if he does, Pentious tanking it is even more illogical

He can still kill regular Sinners easily. I’d buy that he can't kill Overlords any day (I believe in it myself since it is most logical), but we have seen him kill regular Sinners ON SCREEN so no. Besides, what's even the point of not allowing him doing that to some random no-names?

Husker states he can take a beating, Pentious survives a Zeatial attack, He survived said Alastor attack, he survives a big explosion in heaven and only breaks his arm.

Actually, I changed my mind. I think the UES for Hazbin should be safe.

Fact that Angels are literally made of their own Light attacks should be enough proof that they physically are on that level no? Especially with how Lucifer could survive Might of Lilith absorbing and ejecting that much energy from his body.

I am not backing down on that btw I just thought my comment didn't explain my stance well enough, don't make me sound like a coward.

I don't like how Reaper is trying to destroy the profiles for entertainment, he isn't Alastor.

Think Cursed Spirits are made of CE without it being a UES so ehhh

It's not like they're living energy beings either, the light that makes up their bodies is basically just golden blood and shares none of the qualities of the beam.

Trust me if changing their scaling is "destroying the profile", every Undertale CRT that changes their tiering is destroying the profiles.

Most of the entertainment I'd get from nerfing Adam to tier 7 is watching you crash out, otherwise the standards be how they lay and while I have my opinions on tiering and where we are right now is not where I stand, I see no reason to complain about it. Husk has more matches in 9-A/High 8-C than he ever had in Low 5-B or 5-B, and that's what I like to do: Make matches with the work I did. It's why I don't make very many haxlords unless I just like the character.

Yeah that's honestly my slight issue with it too, but vague ass "They're made of light so they should scale to their own light attacks!" is genuinely not where a UES works.

I don't know about you Reaper but keeping Adam at 5-B but downgrading Holy Light to Low 7-C is pretty much destroying the profile, at least by my standards. At that point how can he even be used? For his tier he loses his abilities since they are 2 tiers below and in that tier he one shots and tanks pretty much everything lol.

I mean we gotta do some digging then, because I feel like UES is pretty clear cut. Light, body and magic. Lucifer getting weaker from his literal "light" being drained out etc.

Most of his utility from it is cause most of his opponents lack heat res, Shion, he gets basically nothing from the AP of it...

Wait if Overlords Tier 5 got nuked cuz it’s outlier, can’t Lucifer’s one be nuked too, since he can’t one-shot General of Exorcists whose consistent feats are around Tier 7 and stuff

Oh piss off, he was holding his own against heat resistant characters too you know. Having spammable beams that scale above his AP is very good ability heat inducing or not.

Anyways, let's wait and see what happens to UES.

I say, old bean, we're both aware a fair bit of that transpired afore Adam was, shall we say, somewhat underperforming at a level just a smidge above a Pilot Alastor showing, and to be frank, Adam's consistently bottom of the barrel at tier 7, innit?
