Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

Hello, I'm not entirely sure how this thread works. But I wanted to ask how much you agree with this recalculation I did.

We just talk about the series (either reviews of the season, jokes, interesting theories) and it's scaling
Honest thoughts on the recalc? small building level is funny as hell but you gotta get some CGMS to review it since us non-cgms agreeing does nothing

Not a CGM but oh.

Using the eggs from season 1 compared to The pilot isn't the best.
The old calc was literally done before Season 1 was even close to existing.

Assuming the size of a distant object and then using that for the viewpoint is... impractical?
Don't think that's what old calc did.

Pulverization is used when the edges and shape of the crater don't simply suggest that everything disappeared. It seems more likely that everything was violently destroyed, or pieces fell into it.
I was told that Pulv is fine. I'd argue that it's vaporization but TheRustyOne rejected it so eh.
Also don't think that pieces falling into it is realistic.

Old calc is just fine imo. Don't get the desire to downgrade it.

suppose I at least agree with the pulverization part. Since my reasons weren't the most logical—like, it looked like a violent fragmentation crater to me because the edges didn't convince me.

I There is a Pulv version, if that helps. Yes, the original calculation assumes the size the egg would be at a certain distance. Reducing its size by half results in a larger radius than the original calculation. R

I don't know when it was done. Although at first I did see that the design was different. But hey, he's a pilot, the dimensions change. Did he adjust them? But the problem is how to calculate the second radius.

Well, someone from there actually sent me here. I wanted to know how logical the calculation is; I suppose the rest can be worked out later.

FYI, Pilot was released in 2019, and Season 1 was released in 2024.

Para su información, el piloto se lanzó en 2019 y la temporada 1 se lanzó en 2024

Ya lo veo. Y sí, parece la imagen del piloto. Juraría que lo era.My mistake. There's already a spray version in the calculation, if that's also of interest to you. But as I said, the problem is how to calculate the second radius. I still don't understand the idea of assuming the size of something at a distance, then using that to calculate the radius and volume.

Question: Should I change the size or leave it as is? It uses the same method to calculate the size, but from a scene more recent than the explosion.

Funnily enough it was @LIFE_OF_KING who upgraded Alastor's profile to High 4-C. He also did Tier 6 and FTL calcs that we are about to use... so much for a Hazbin Hotel downplayer eh?

Ngl Lute is hella tough, she no-low diffed Vaggie in fist-fight and low-mid diffed in sword-spear fight, and once she got to actually punch Vaggie she practically one-shotted her lol. She would definitely be a good character for matchups.

If her skill wasn't dogshit

I mean, she easily outskilled Vaggie who got lessons to fight with Carmilla and evidently trained to fight better before Extermination...
Oh wow, she's better than someone who outskills people who are incompetent in combat to a person! I'm very impressed, she gets a cookie!

Saw that downgrade thread. 9-A Overlords is tough lmao.

Going from 8-A to 9-A is gotta be rough. They never catch a break.

Are angels and overlords getting a resistance to mind manip? Cause Lute, Abel, Emily and Sera looked directly at Vox who had his hypnosis screens on his wings and were unaffected by it. Same thing for the overlords like Zeezi in the finale.

Im still iffy on the MC resistance, since the Angels are so far away that they wouldn't be effected (Vox's MC is sight based, which is plausible reasoning on Val's immune given his god-awful sight) whereas the other overlords are never shown looking directly at the screen (we can legit see Zeezi's not looking at it)
