I mean, I only watched the Arabic dub for DBS (Ion even watch DB regularly anyways) and that was mentioned, so I can't even really comment if that's a thing for the official anime dub.

Sounds dumb, specially considering that Alastor can't fix his cane anymore because of Adam's nullifying his powers and him having the hole sliced on him by Adam in not only his main body but even on his shadow

Why are you still on this? I debunked it in the same thread: Alastor’s powers get temporarily nulled when his staff breaks. There is a damn reason to why his voice was not radio when that happened.

Shion seemed to suggest that light actually touched Alastor and powernulled him, and if that is the case (which is not), then Alastor did indeed no-sell that attack.
I was just showing Shion why his argument is flawed.

If your reasoning is that staff breaking power nulled Alastor BECAUSE light was the one that broke it, then I have bad news.
Alastor is confused by his powers being gone, but it clicks to him explicitly when he sees his cane is broken and he even curses at it. Make 2+2.

This does not refute my reasoning tho. Be it light affecting staff or Alastor through staff or erasing the concept of Alastor's powers through passive reality warping - whatever headcanon you wish - my reasoning still holds.

He argues that Alastor losing his powers and radio voice is a result of powernull for the light. I argue that it is a result of his staff breaking and that it is a weakness.

Nah we're chill, we just tend to disagree with certain stuff (honestly if I didn't do electrified tentacles + durability upgrade he would have likely agreed with everything there, since he was always for shadow downscaling).

You know what? After watching the new episodes for season 2 i have a new sort of vague respect for specifically the Vees and Lute as characters.
They're both honestly highlights of the season so far. they're enjoyable to watch. Vox specifically is so comically power hungry that he keeps stretching out the control he really wants and it's honestly a fun characteristic of his.
