What is hax? People say hax is important term. Bring it up all the time. But when I look up Hax on wiki, there no page :<

May someone please explain hax to me? Why no hax page if term is so important? There is category for important term.

Here is category:

But no hax...am I not searching correctly? :(

We used to have a hax page, but we deleted it because it was directly copied from the OBD. I can give you a screenshot of the original version if you want, Yeul.

Basically it's any ability that doesn't rely on raw power and speed, often allowing a character to combat characters outside of their own tier.

Giorno Giovanna's GER is a good example. It's only Large Building level physically, but it can nullify attacks and set them to zero, to the extent that it was able to nullify a universal time erasure. And it can force people to experience death infinitely over and over again across parallel worlds.

So yeah, that's basically what hax is. It's often an overpowered ability that is deadly without having raw power or speed, although it's usually far more simple than GER's case.

I'm far too busy right now to make another hax page, unfortunately.

"Hax, an expression derived from "Computer Hacking", refers to powers and abilities that grant a fighter significant advantage over opponents of similar, or even superior physical stats as his, making things such as physical strength and speed irrelevant for the his victory.

Example: Character A is Planet level while Character B is Large Planet, however Character A is intangible, can regenerate from anything, and manipulate matter on a sub-atomic level, while Character B is simply a brawler who can fire energy attacks. As such, regardless of his physical inferiority, it is unquestionable that Character A would be the winner of the match."

A quick rundown of hax would be any ability that isn't standard Elemental Manipulation or simply Superhuman Physical Characteristics.

For a quick example, someone who can only punch a punching bag has no hax, but still has AP.

A person who can reality warp the bag out of existence has hax, but may or may not have AP.

If you look over the Powers and Abilities category, if the specific power has to deal with the being/body themselves (their intelligence, physical strength,) are not hax. Neither is anything relating to physical AP itself. If it' has manipulation in the name, it's likely to be hax. But not if it's related to the elements, or the character's body (Body Control). A quick way of singling a specific power out, just go to the category page and click on the three horizontal lines right next to the category description. This will list out all the powers for you in an easy to read fashion, and just quickly read over their names. It'll be clear then.

The most common hax are:

Fate Manipulation, Reality Warping, Causality Manipulation, Fate Manipulation. Toon Force, Time Manipulation, Space Manipulation, Matter and Soul Manipulation. If you read over their pages, you;ll have a fair idea of what all hax have in common.

Correction. We had a "broken" page. Not a "hax" page. They're similar enough though, so here. I can't get it all, so this will give you the main points it and a handful of the many examples on the page.

This. I wrote this description, Yeul. :3

So, while this is still open, if we do remake the article for hax (it would be useful both for newcomers and as an easy way of reference, I suggest this.

We have Matthew's description at the top, and if any editing is needed, add it to shape it up a little, then using the convenient category page and arranging it accordingly via the three horizontal bars at the top, we can use that list at the bottom for a reference point and add in all the abilities accordingly, thereby clarifying specifically which abilities are hax and which are not.

I'm making a page for general debating terms that can be seen here

Once the page is completed, maybe we should provide a link to the Powers and Abilities section? I would also suggest talking about frequently used hax just as examples, such, as fate manip etc.
