Harry Potter (verse) VS Undertale (Up to Asgore)

while this is an uphill battle for HP, it could be doable with the sheer number of wizards and anti magic creatures. either way I feal this could be interesting. (also by "Up to Asgore" I mean that sans, Undyne the Undying, Frisk, Chara, all forms of Flowey, Asriel, Amalgamates, Gaster, and AD cannot participate in any form. Mettaton (box), Napstablook and Mad Dummy can be included, but only if there is some possibility that anything on the wizards' side can potentially harm them.)

setting: 2 square acres of scotish country side surrounded by impenatrible shields, 40% of land is semi-dense woods, 35% of land is a field of well trimed grass, and the last 25% is an unkempt field of high grass, there is also a deep lake in the center of the area. also Hogwarts can be put in any of these locations with or without its elevation and it will have upgraded durability to withstand several mountain level attacks. finally, it is cold and foggy out with light rain every now and then.

The Harry Potter verse can be relegated to

- (A) all important named characters

- (B) Everyone in Hogwarts and the Death Eaters roughly 1,026 wizards (26 Death Eaters)

- (C) Entire populous of magical Britain roughly 3,000 wizards

if they are alive but then die during the story they are also included in stuff.

every wizard involve possesses sufficiant wizardry training, although being an above average wizard still counts. Team HP, regardless of size can have several trained magical creatures of as many types as they need or we know of unless it proves too much. Wizards are also allowed prep time with suficiant components for large quantities of charms traps and potions. lastly everyone on team HP gets along well enough to the point of using themselves as meat shields to enact a master plan. (also they're all very brave in this situation and won't run and hide until everything ends, besides that it's in character.)

as for team UT, they are limited to the ones we have profiles on and at or below Asgore's power. Additionally all of them are perfectly fine with killing anyone and everyone on team HP. even if there are multiples of a monster, they will only be represented by one unless a good argument is made for there being multiple. Team UT also is given no prep time or assets besides their mission goal.

Style 1: Gauntlet (speed equalized)

team HP chooses where to start, then has their prep time, then a single opponent from Undertale based on a list from weakest to strongest will appear far away from hogwarts in the battle zone that is neither inconvinient or detrimental (ie mettaton or vulkin appearing on the lake bed). they then do battle until one side is somehow unable to fight. If team HP wins then, a save is loaded and everything resets to before they showed up and the prossess begins with the next monster on the list. If the monster wins, the Gauntlet ends in Undertale's favour. And if team HP beats Asgore, the Gauntlet ends in their favour.

List:

Doggo

Lesser Dog

Greater Dog

Dogi

Mad Dummy

Royal Guards

Papyrus

Napstablook

Temmie

Tsunderplane (if a bigger arena is needed for Tsunderplane, the arena will expand)

Undyne

Muffet

Mettaton

Mettaton EX

Mettaton Neo (possibly after Asgore)

Toriel

Asgore

Varient: things are not reset after each HP win and all costs carry over.

Style 2: Battle Royale (speed equalized)

same is as with Style 1, but instead of one monster showing up, it's all of them at once (including all three Mettatons). They all are as willing to work together as the wizards but still lack prep time.

Style 3: Gauntlet (no speed equalized)

same as style 1 otherwise.

(Bonus) Style 4 Battle Royale (no speed equalized)

only if I've seriously underestimated team HP/ overestimated team UT.

Optional rules:

1) Either or both teams possess extensive knowledge of what they will be up against in the next battle.

when talking about a specific setup just begin it with "(style number)-(team HP letter) ("Varient", "Optional rule" with number, or left blank)"

ask me if you have questions about the set up, and thank you for reading this ocean of text.

Harry Potter (verse)
Undertale

Here's a question, before we begin.

Bloodlust, or in-character? This is a pretty big deal when it comes to the Killing Curse and whether or not Asgore doesn't turn the school into a smoldering crater with one fireball.

Undyne solos casually even without Undying form. It's also very hard to say whether or not Avada Kedavra ignores durability, since the HP verse is so darn weak that it could just be an attack strong enough to consistently kill a human.

bloodlust, and for somewhat fareness hogwarts has a durability upgrade to withstand even a few attacks from asgore

At that point the HP 'verse is so buffed that they hardly at all resemble their original power.

Either Avada Kedavra turns the match into a stomp, considering speed is equalized, or the durability means they all get toasted by Asgore and Toriel because no-one else even comes close to that level of power.

The Killing Curse's power is, from where I'm standing, unknown, as well as of unknown effectiveness against the monsters.

right, oh well I was thinking dementors could inhabilitate monsters by getting rid of their happy thoughts and thus their determination but I guess a stomp is unavoidable here.
